About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live the dream

ABOUT ME

Alike to almost everyone on this site, I Love to travel! Before I started getting serious about travelling I was very much career focused, but have always had the sense of adventure and the desire to explore/wander, or walk just that little bit further to see what was around the corner and detour away from the regular paths/roads.

I love the concept of this website and heard about it from other people during my travels a long time ago.
I like being active and outdoors.

Lived in British Colombia 2009.
In January 2011 I left Australia to embark on a 12month journey through South America, Central America, and Europe. It was an incredible life experience, filled with many great memories and the people of couchsurfing played a huge part in it. And now, I am convinced that there is a hell of a lot more to life then just running the rat race of the conventional western world society.
Many other adventures followed on from my 2011 experience.
In 2014 I did another year through South and Central America living in a Kombi van.
2016 - Guatemala y Honduras, Indonesia
2017 - Mexico, Indonesia
2018 - Lived in Baja California Sur, Mexico with my girlfriend. Visited Philippines.
2019 - Is starting off in Australia

PHILOSOPHY

1. Live to enjoy!

What goes around comes around,
and treat others with the respect that you expect to receive.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is broad and varied from rock beats of Metallica to Reggae beats of Bob Marley. Though Red Hot Chilli Pepper would have to be one of my long favourites.

I never have much free time for books so anything I ever read is generally non-fictional to learn more about something.

Books: The Alchemist, Marching Powder, Unlocked, Shantaram, Lost in the Jungle, Solitude- Seeking Wisdoms in Extremes, The Celestine Prophecy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived my life trying to enjoy every moment as best I can.

Skydiving over my local beach, bungee jumping the Nevis in New Zealand (I think it's the 3rd biggest jump in the world), experiencing Mexico!!, riding the British Columbia & Rocky Mtn powder, seeing the Sapporo Ice Festival in Japan and riding the best powder in Niseko, surfing with some locals in Fiji near Saggatoka.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more Spanish. I can help people learn/better their English. I can show off my part of the world and help people to make the most of their time in my particular area. I want to hear about other great places to visit. I want to leave people with a positive impression and them to do the same to me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Fiji, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United States
