ABOUT ME

My friends call me an optimist. I'd like to one day create a eutopia (differing from utopia in that it means "perfect" but not "fictional") on my family's run down ranch in California. I like to ride my bicycle. If I wasn't so broke all the time I would travel more often and get a few more tattoos. I like meeting good people. I don't need much to be happy. I love being alive. I like music, good food, good drink and good company. I believe strongly in the inter-connectivity of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many a friend live on my couch when they didn't have a place of their own. I couch surfed in Brooklyn for the month of August while I was part of an urban agriculture internship and had the best time of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Partied long after the sun came up at Berghain in Berlin, found Pirate's Cove near Avila beach, CA, slept on rooftops in Brooklyn for a summer. Witnessed my beautiful baby boy take his first steps, say his first words, ride his bike with no training wheels, and grow in to a kind, thoughtful, ridiculous little boy

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm, I could teach you how to do a head stand... I'm learning about herbal medicine but haven't put the knowledge to use yet. I can show you how to work a chainsaw, sew a quilt out of plastic bags (with plastic bag thread no less) or make a dress out of paper. I used to know how to print lithographically, but I forgot. I do remember how to make intaglio, screen and lino-cut prints. I can teach you about non-violent communication. Please teach me Spanish, how to weld and small engine mechanics.
