ABOUT ME

I'm an optimist. I generally like people, but I'm perfectly content to be by myself.

My perfect day consists of breakfast with a small cup of coffee and heading outside to see what the world has in store.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a very strong inkling that this life - this thing right here that we're doing - this is it. Sometimes that bums me out since everything seems so futile, but for the most part, it drives me to just enjoy the day and the moment for what it is.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My current living arrangements don't make it easy for me to host, but that's my goal someday. In the meantime, I would love to meet people who are Couchsurfers visiting San Francisco for a cup of coffee, tea, or a pint of beer.

This city is beautiful and wonderful and I would love to share it with you in some small way, and learn about where you're from and what you do!

Music, Movies, and Books

I've rated 1,000+ movies on my Netflix account so I'm sure I can list a few, but nothing's coming to mind right now. I'm currently sitting on "The City of Lost Children," which I remember I LOVED when I first watched it. I re-rented it to see if I would still love it.

Boringly, I read non-fiction books on customer service ("Delivering Happiness"). I love the subject, what can I say?

I listen to a bit of everything, but I love singer-songwriters the most. And two of my favorites are Jason Mraz and John Mayer (two folks with "JM" for initials, too!).
