ABOUT ME

Maiia (sanskrit – magic, illusion), real name is Alla Vagner.
In age of 12, she took her first lessons of playing on an acoustic guitar that later turned place of bassist in various metal bands, which gave concerts over the city. In 2004 year she began to be interested in different kinds of electronic music.

Since 2005 she realized as downtempo djane and played her beautiful sets in best night clubs of Moscow. She spoke at one of the largest open air in Latvia, KLUSA DABA, and also played at the festival Rhythms of Peace in Morocco, Planet Art Eco Festival (Ukraine, Crimea), Systo Palty Togathering (coast of the Finnish Gulf). Maiia’s music sounded at many open-airs near Moscow.
In year 2006 her love of electronic music transformed in music producing. She takes inspirations from the sounds of nature and ancient ethnic music. Her music style is much close to psy chill with dub & ambient spirit.
From 2008 music of Maiia released on different compilations of Parampara rec. and Spacebaby rec.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've composed 3 albums of music and now creating 4th. Places i've saw - wonderful sea and mountains in Turkey, amazing Atlantic ocean in Morocco, relaxing free athmosphere in Goa, ancient buildings in Latvia, absolutely beautiful nature around my country house)
