ABOUT ME

Abbie spent her college breaks traveling for credit. She was in Costa Rica for photography, Montreal for French, Kenya for conservation and the Phillippines for a peace project. She graduated with a BA, MA in Psych and is working on her PsyD.

PHILOSOPHY

If an opportunity presents itself, it's up to you to take it. No "I wish I had"'s. I talk to people in elevators.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can help you with information about most states. I'm great at bargain hunting and will share my knowledge. I'm under treatment for cancer so I can't have visitors at this time, but I will be glad to meet up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed and camped for 4 months all over the US
in 1980.We couchsurfed in Europe. I have hosted friends and relatives for years.

Interests

Abbie loves to take dance and teach dance. She is studying Psychology. I read constantly and scrapbook all my adventures. I have toured all 50 states, parts of Europe, Costa Rica, Mexico and the Caribbean.
I spent a semester in Ghana, West Africa. Abbie studied abroad and hopes to visit every continent.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books- mysteries,plus Jody Picoult, Elizabeth Berg. I have read some of the classics.
Music - oldies, jazz, classical
I have seen George Benson,Elvis and the Beach Boys in concert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have zip lined thru the rain forest. We have hot ballooned over Indiana. I have white water rafted in Calif. in exchange for my cooking skills, such as they are. I have raced Corvettes in PA. I studied in Ghana, being the one white American amongst 16,000 people.
Abbie skydived for her 18th birthday and celebrated her 19th birthday with a Navajo ceremony in a teepee.
