ABOUT ME

Hrm..lets see..im pretty easy-going, love to meet new people and make new friends. I enjoy traveling because it gives me a great opportunity to try new things and learn from people who are different from myself. I am accepting of all people,so I only hope that in return I will find acceptance at all walks of life. I have always been brought up to be extremely respectful and grateful towards everyone I meet which I think are two good qualities to have when being welcomed and welcoming others into a person's home.
****just started a year long trip through Asia after completing a master's degree in chinese medicine in December. ..can't wait to keep learning but in a more hands on..tactile capacity :-)

I am in love with the CS community, it seems like this is kind of a "pay it forward" focus, which I think is extremely unique and amazing. I look forward to meeting people part of CS because ive had such incredible experiences every time..theyre truly some fab people involved youll be blessed to cross paths with. I have been living in San Diego for the last year where i hosted when i could and participated often in the weekly meetups( seriously incredible cs community in SD i will miss u sorely <3 ) now I'm in Santa Cruz have been hosting less bc of my roommates not being too keen on it but if you are in need message me

Interests

I love music. I love to sing (opera most of all). I love my family. I love my friends. I lovee my white Siamese tabby named Lotus. I love art. I've started to dabble more in photography and drawing recently. I love to cook. I love nature. I can't wait to hike all of these amazing mountains, pyramids, waterfalls.... I love to party and make new friends. Sometimes its also just nice to relax, curl up on a couch, sip some tasty tea and watch a good movie with good people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I know everyone says that they "like a range of different music" so alas i suppose i will say the same...but let me elaborate further because I LOVE music..and I never take that as an answer either...so neither should you hehe
Well as ive said above..i sing opera..love classical..also grew up 45 minutes outside NYC so YES i admit i love musicals..
my expansion of music taste started in highschool with emo punk..ska..still have a soft spot for old school blink, greenday, rancid, and flogging molly..First concert i went to was phish (when i was 8 haha) interesting enough that has also happened to be the last show i just saw (about a month ago..full circle hehe) so love jam hippie music..getting even more into it as of the last like 3 years..also a big fan of blues/ bluesegrassy..i guess i like anything in life that a person can have the liberty to stand up in front of people and play whatever they're feeling at that moment! Though if you find me alone in my room at home without a doubt my guilty pleasure are my records..i lovee late 60s through 70s music..i wish i was alive and kicking it during that time..all in all if i dont know a band that you like..great..please play it for me..i promise to play you some good jams in return..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went sky-diving with my father for my 18th birthday, a truly amazing experience, which was even better since shared with my dad :)
I look forward to crossing many more things off of my "to do" list in the near future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been studying chinese medicine for the last 6 years..just graduated from masters school in December. .my undergraduate was in psychology and music.. whatever youd like to learn about it id be happy to share...please whatever your talent/ skill/ interest is...share away..i really think this world should go back to barter systems :)
