ABOUT ME

We are a couple on this Profile:
Ander: 33 years old, born in Bayonne, the country of the ham and grew up in Biarritz, the european capital of surfing. In his everyday life, Ander is an air-traffic controller (the little voice which speaks to the planes and tell them to climb, descend or turn...) He is a great traveller and his camera is his best friend. From spanish origins, he also likes speaking a lot or having a good bottle of wine with friends. Having fun and experiencing new cultures are his two major goals... so Ander is always ready for a new adventure!
Ophély: 28 years old, born in Blaye, north of Bordeaux the city of the wine and grew up among the vineyards. She works as a Press agent in a tour-operator and always tries to find the "new" place to go aroud the wolrd. Ophely is a very curious person, who always wants to discover new things. Her capacities into communication make her a really opened and friendly person.

PHILOSOPHY

We both think that it's better to live with remorse than with regrets. That's why were leaving for 1 year... but we also think that travelling whithout meeting native people is like cooking whithout spicies! And for that we hope CS will be the best recipe !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We just discovered CS with Harry ( friend living in Cusco and very involved in cs). At the moment, we're just leaving Paris for a world tour and hope to meet a lot of Couch Surfeurs on the way. And from our return, our sofa will become theirs!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are beginners on the circuit but we plan to catch up our delay! Out of CS at the time, we had an couch experience with someone who hosted us because we were doing the same job: Harry in Peru! The hospitality in all its magnificence. A smile, a good meal and moreover, an apartment ideally situated in the historic district of Cuzco. He is now a hard user of CS and convienced us to do so!

Interests

Ander likes travelling of course, but also fotografy, cooking, sports, scuba-diving , surfing, going to the Ferias like Pamplona and everything that could give him good sensations!
Ophély likes travelling also, reading, bicycle riding, making new friends, drinking good wine withe friends and of course eating chocolate!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Inca trail and the arrival to Macchu Picchu at sunrise , sky-diving over Reunion island, visiting Angkor Vat with Mister Pen, taking a shower on lost airfield in Australian Outback …
