About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be Happy!

ABOUT ME

Well,
I guess that's the space where I have to be original, smart, fun, and captivating to catch your attention and make you feel like meeting up with me! tough job!
It might not be the most surprising presentation but I'll try to describe myself as I can. :)

Who I am in a nutshell, because it's easier to start like this: I'm Carole, I'm 24 years old and I wish I could stop growing up! I catch up with my dear Paris after living for a while in Vancouver and travelling in the US last year. My experience in North America has been extremely exciting and stunning and I look forward to be back on the road travelling. But I'll have to be patient, I'm back studying for now, which is great too. After having studied art and sculpture for a long time, I recently decided to change path to study art&Cultural events management, I realized that I'm not interested in being an artist myself no longer, but I want to be involved in creative projects, helping beautiful things people can imagine, to exist. I'm defenetly interested in all forms of art, and I like to see exhibitions, go to the theater, concert...

Moving to a foreign coutry was a way to challenge myself, live new experiences, meet people, it was time to start to travel the world and it totally blew my mind! I realized that I don't really know who I am, where I go or what I want anymore, but I hope I will just have to follow my way and figure it out through my travels, experiences, adventures and encounters! My first road trip experience opened my eyes, and now I feel that one of the most important thing is to explore the world and meet people and cultures.

What I know is that I like to have good times, go out, party, have fun, and enjoy what surrounds me. I like to be around people, I think I'm curious, open-minded and easy-going, and I will be glad to learn from you!
Look forward to meet you soon.

If I host you at my place, I'll be glad to show you Paris as I see it and share my amazement about this city, Hopefully I'll get enough time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted many times when I was travelling and I seriously intend to be hosting soon. I didn't take time to do it since I moved in Paris a few month ago, but I'm really excited about having folks at my place really soon. And I'll visit the Paris CSers community as soon as I can, I'm sure it'll be a breath of fresh air!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first experienced CS during my road trip on the roads of the US west coast with a friend, couchsurfing as much as possible. I simply loved it, and have been amazed by the whole project.
Being welcolmed by generous and open-minded people, happy to share a little bit of their time and life is something incredible. And I like how natural and simple it seems to be. I hope I have been a good guest for everybody.

Back to Vancouver, curious, I joined the local CS community, and haven't been dispappointed! I met great people there and made friends. That's a total different experience from being host, but you can be sure you'll always find open-minded people with who you'll have a lot in common, from the passion of travelling, to the idea of sharing.

Interests

all kind of creative activities, going to exhibitions, concerts, theater, performing arts, dancing, partying, ice-skating, snowboarding, adrenaline activities like bodyjumping or skydiving (only did once but loved it!), walking around, exploring a city with a map, discover the world, learning something from somebody, listening all kind of stories, playing xylophone in a brass band, be happy, and scratch the seam of my T-shirt
Oh and I love to eat, any kind of food would make me happy (but I secretly love doublecheeseburgers!)
