Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love showing people around Eugene. This city has many activities and very closeby there are beautiful, natural settings to appreciate. From coffee houses, fine-or down home, or vegetarian, or ethnic dining, music, theatre, ballet, museums, children's activities, Eugene Saturday Market, the beach, mountains, rivers, snow, natural hot springs...So much to offer. I still need to make it to a couchsurfing camp event at Burning Man. I always forget what the day and time is when I'm there... it's hard to make it to scheduled events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just with family and personal friends, so far. Although I did meet up with a couple of couch surfers at Burning Man and they camped with us-that was cool making new friends.

Interests

I love animals (I have 3 cats and 2 1/2 dogs (long story),) gardening, camping, forests, music, festivals, art, self-sufficiency, conscious living, Burning Man.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy movies, and I love music. All kinds but I prefer newer edgier music. I like reading about science, history, self-improvement and technology.
Eckhart Tolle and Henry Rollins are my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked on a bed of burning coals once.
I gave birth to both of my beautiful daughters at home. That was truly amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty self-sufficient and have great survival skills. I'm certified in First Aid/CPR. I can make a geodesic dome from a stack of newspapers and a stapler. I am a licensed cosmetologist in 3 states. Too many things to list. I can sew and teach others to sew. I created a line of clothing for breastfeeding women.
I am always eager to learn new skills and try new things.
