ABOUT ME

I'm 29 years old, love to explore and travel unfamiliar lands. I would like to think I am open-minded and welcoming. I have spent a great number of years living abroad and traveling and it is my passion to travel to as many places as possible. I've just moved back to England to study a bit more and to travel in Europe. I hope I get the chance to meet more interesting and inspiring people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some very interesting people through CS :) Hosted a few people while I had my place in Hanzghou, China, then used couch surfing in Germany in 2015 and met some wonderful people.

Interests

Mainly travel, walk, and make music. Other than that I like to cycle, climb, drink in a social way (not into clubs as much these days), camp out and write blogs. my travel blog is wearetransient.wordpress.com (it's mainly advice and travel philosophy)

I can look at a map for hours and plan routes for future journeys. Some of them happen but others are saved for another time or scrapped due to sheer absurdity.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into a lot of different music depending on my mood and surroundings. I like the heaviest metal and the softest classical pieces and most things in between. As an electronic producer, I am swaying more towards artists like bonobo, radiohead, seekae, mistabishi and I am in love with liquid drum and bass.

I like allsorts from animations to indie to korean thrillers. Not too many pointless explosions though, please.

I like Steinbeck, Orwell, true crime books and travel diaries. I also love a good blog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled America visiting 9 national parks and 11 states.
Living in China and visiting amazing places around Asia.
Hiking the Camino del rey.
Did 10 countries(4 months non-stop travel) in 2015 while studying full-time at university.

I can teach you english or anything music related. I can play guitar, drums, produce and DJ. They are my passion so I enjoy teaching them.
