About Me
ABOUT ME
A nice german mate who likes to see the world and help people seeing it.
I don't like to put people into groups, but on the first superficial look I am probably something like a greenish, vegetarian, queer, young student who deep inside got this ridiculous hope of a good world for everyone.
PHILOSOPHY
Trying to live quite sustainable. Greenish, I guess.
I reckon there's another thing which says a lot about my personal philosophy: while waiting for the train in a Melbourne train station I saw a large graffiti tag "Be Good" and was somehow deeply moved by it. Took a picture of it and now it's framed and standing my room.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment living from my CS memories.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before I went to live in Paris I hosted a french guy for about a week in my flat in Berlin and took him to meet my friends and stuff. In Paris he helped me a lot with finding an apartment, meeting people, organized even some hosts for me in the time I was still looking for an apartment. Oh, and by the way: he became a friend in all this time.
I later also met couch surfing people just for drinks, hosted more people, surfed in other places (Dublin, Norway, Boston, London). In general: Pretty good experiences!

Friends, reading, discussion, politics, sustainabilty, ... Basically all that comes along and crosses my mind. Not into something particular.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music from quite a lot of different styles, always depending on my mood!
Movies... hardly watch them when I'm alone. More like a social thing for me, although I like to watch sitcoms while eating alone (lately I am quite a lot into the Cybill series from the 90s...). Actually there's still a shitload of movies I have to watch and always open for suggestions of movies or movie nights!
Oh, and I tend to like to watch movies in their original language, if I am able to understand it (so it's basically German or English at the moment ;=)).
Books: depending on the mood as well. Quite lately much university stuff, you know, boring stuff like sociological stuff and the like. Don't mind a good fantasy book or novel for relaxing and taking it easy either. I read in German and English and started some french ones lately...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving!
I went to Australia for almost a year and did the whole backpacking stuff. That was an extremly amazing experience for a 19 year old guy who just graduated from school!
I am also fascinated by human interaction. Social life is so complex in so many different ways that I am always surprised how we actually manage to live together as a group, as community, as a society. Coming from that, I reckon, that every day can be something fascinating.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always wanted to know how to knit. ;=)
