About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see what i can of the world before everything starts changing

ABOUT ME

Although i was born in Canada, i like to think of myself as a citizen of the world. Every country is on my list of places to visit, and the more i travel the more i discover that i am not meant to stay in one place for a very long time. Destiny guides me and decides where i will head to next. Maybe it's somewhere near you!

PHILOSOPHY

flow like water.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am a firm believer in community. i am always looking for new ways i can break down the social walls created from society today and bring people together. while i don't always have a couch, i try to always have friendliness to share with others in any way i can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few times when I can, but been hosted more times. One day, when I have a place of my own, I plan to pay back all the times I've been hosted, but as for now, my circumstances are not the best.
I also participate in CS events, meet with lonely travelers to be a tour guide or just for someone to share a drink with, I know how it can be when you are in a foreign land and not know anybody.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are always better than the movie.
Brave New World - Aldus Huxley
Jurassic Park - Michael Crichton
The Dharma Bums - Jack Kerouac
Thief of Time - Terry Pratchet

As far as Music, my tastes are always changing, but I find I mostly stay around Hip-hop, Rap, Underground, Groove, Funk, Reggae, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Classical, and anything from the Beatles. I keep an open mind when it comes to Music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam with a Giant Sea Turtle as big as myself in the Great Barrier Reef.
In Israel I climbed the snake paths of Masada early in the morning to watch the sun rise over the Jordanian mountains, across the Dead Sea.
Hitch-hiked across Canada, from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic.

Teach, Learn, Share

This site is NOT a place to find a 'free hostel', this is a place to connect with people from different walks of life. If you don't feel like connecting with someone and just want a place to dump your bags and come back to sleep when it's convenient to you, hostels are almost next to free in price ;-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

i'm a great cook, let me cook for you!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Mexico, Poland
