ABOUT ME

Traveling is my number one passion. I explore the world whenever I can. I love meeting the local people in the places that I travel to and learn their ways.

I am a water baby. I love everything to do with the water. I swim laps in the ocean and pool. I love to snorkel, sail, boat, and all water sports. I love to get under a water fall and just chill with friends in the soothing waters around the globe.

I am a fine art photographer and I am most inspired to create my art when I am exploring new places and cultures. You can check some of my photography at britoart.com.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I travel, I like to meet the cool local people, so I look up my destination in many ways, including CS and it is great to meet people this way. So far, I have only had positives experience with this site. I am also happy to show the new people in town the fun places to go, where I live. So, feel free to contact me when you are in my town. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met Joel Raventos and his friends through CS, when I was traveling in Barcelona. They were great! They showed me around the city and took me to some of their favorite restaurants, where the food was amazing.

Joel had some free time and took me to see two beaches outside the city about one hour south and the other about one hour north of Barcelona. Tossa Del Mar was very cool with a Castle right on the water.

CS made a huge difference on my trip.

Then, we stayed in contact and Joel had to come to California for business. He stopped by Los Angeles and It was my pleasure to return the favor. I showed him my favorite places and took him out on a couple of my friends' boats and he also had an very fun time.

So, I have had a very good experience with CS so far and definitely recommend it. It is a great way to meet good international friends.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Christ in Rio de Janeiro, The Twelve Apostles in Melbourne, The volcanos in Bali, snorkeling in Cancun...Ok maybe I am not answering this question right...let's see...When I was 12, I went to compete in Europe with the Brazilian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team and it was the first time I was out of my country. I was so amazed with all the new cultures I visited and people I met, that from then on, I new I'd be exploring the world a lot.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you how to dance, any style, as I am a former professional ballerina and dance teacher.

I can also teach you photography, Photoshop and any of the visual arts: drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, collage, scrap booking etc... I am a Visual Arts Teacher certified by the Florida Department of Education and currently pursuing my Master Degree in Fine Arts from Jacksonville University.

I have a passion for learning! A great day for me is any day in which I learn something new. I am grateful for all that I learn from friends and hosts!
