About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To realize one's destiny is a person's only obligation

ABOUT ME

Its very hard to describe my complicated existence...i breath ..i eat ..i sleep.but there is an eager inside me boiling like a volcano...ok cutting the bullshit..i am computer scientist working on implementing SKYNET ( yeah the same Terminator Shit). For the last various years i have been living around the whole bloody world and my French life is kicking off in Sep with beautiful town of Saint Etienne.

I consider myself a global citizen and my passion is to travel and meet new people. I am very social and easygoing and can get along with everyone. (As long as they can get me sarcastic humour)

PHILOSOPHY

I seek to squeeze as much out of life as possible - in terms of learning, experience, love and pleasure. However, it's also really important for me to work hard, to give something back (which is why I really like the reciprocal nature of schemes like CS), and to show appreciation for what I have. Whilst I wouldn't really describe myself as spiritual, I do believe the karmic wheel turns..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I myself am a relative newbie to Galway, I can offer you a shared learning experience about whatever it is you wanna see in this fine cosmopolis!Couch-wise, at this point, I've really not much to offer as me flatmates aint share the same views about CS, but I may be able to help you out.. Lemme know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started the several summers ago (2008?) when I stayed with two great CS hosts in Malyasia. This culminated in a CS party in an old sherry bodega. Here I found out more about the project amidst the dusty old barrels of sherry, and was hooked!I then had some wonderful CS experiences in Edinburgh and Spain, and really struggle to put into words how kind and hospitable some of the people I met and stayed with were.In a nutshell, I love the generosity, warmth, fun and spirit of intercultural exchange that CS seems to offer - long may it continue.

Interests

Expanding on what I've already written :- music (especially gigs and festivals), cinema, art (both creating and admiring), Playing my guitar, books, writing, hiking, people and their peculiarities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to boil it down - pretty much all of my epic journey around south east asia was amazing. There were some challenges, of course, but now all the sunsets, samba music, mountains, margaritas, and general magic tend to blur into one big happy memory.Over the last couple of years my student life and being erasmus has also been remarkable. It's a great privilege, and certainly never dull, to do what I do and to gain insight into so many compelling life-stories..

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very happy to share some of my time and knowledge meeting with others in terms of showing them around my current city. Umm, as for what else I can share, perhaps I could teach people how to make some sick beaf stakes(sick in a good way)? I knocked this typical American stuff up a couple of times for my hosts when travelling and hosting and it always seemed to go down quite well...
