About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish my tasks at home to have time and money to travel

ABOUT ME

Openminded, friendly, helpful, curious, but overworked at the moment.

Actually a bit atheistic (just learned from wikipedia, I should call myself ignostic, to be excact), but nonetheless quite interested in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sufism, Islam, Sikhism. Not smoking, no alcohol, except trying local drinks on travels, like chang in the himalayas.

Guess I'm a reincarnated Indian ;-)

I live with my Girlfriend in our house.

PHILOSOPHY

Anicca :-) For those who are not familiar with the Teachings of Buddha, it means, everything will pass, pleasure and pain.

I'm vegetarian, cause I don't want animals to be killed.

A hug a day keeps the doctor away. And two are better then one - and so on :-)

For those who understand german, there is a friendly cuddle party group here at bremen ahve a look under http://www.kuschelzeit-bremen.de, it really makes feel you good :-)

Hosting and being hosted. Spreading friendship and love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted 3 young friendly climbers form lithuania, unfortunatly I had to work too much. And yes, Andrius and Asta, still hosting his glasses ;-)

The last experiences in India where a bit disappointing. I asked quite a few people on the trip to India, if they would like to host or just talk but the majority even didn't reply. My enthusiasm about couchsurfing has somewhat decreased.

My old profile looked like this: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/1382366/profile/legacy

Interests

Travelling to enrich my and maybe also other peoples mind and life.

Dancing to trad folk tunes. Bal Folk as well as Mazurka, Schottishe, Rheinlender, Bourrée, Hambo etc. Would love to learn Springar, Gangar and Polska.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Arriving at 2:30 at hyderabad the day before the marriage of my friend Ravi, falling asleep at 4, and being shocked up by some really loud carnatic music from the marriage band, being afraid I missed everything and then realizing it just had started at 6, uff. I love carnatic music since then :-)

Finally arriving on top of Gollab Kangri (close to Leh, Ladakh, about 6km high) and finding a huge mountain crystal on my way back.

The golden temple in Amritsar is such a spiritual place and very romantic at sunset, when hundreds of small bird gather on a tree to sleep with the chanting of Guru Granth Sahib in the background.

My dad had a heart attack in the beginning of 2009, was unconcious for 6 weeks and is now alive again almost as before.

Dancing at the Surajkund crafts Mela with rajasthani dancers and dilliwallahs to driving rajasthani music. People and me likedit a lot.

And, yes, this: (Well this is a link to click on) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYjg58_j3zc :-)
