I am ever changing! I’m also fun loving, loyal, relaxed, friendly, temperamental, shy, socially awkward many times, interested in people of all kinds, an optimist, a dancer, a listener, thirsty for knowledge… any knowledge, I have a weird sense of humor – or so I’ve been told!

I love to think that we are continously changing, maybe such small pieces at a time that we - and others - don´t notice it. We are who we are but then again a person, an experience, a book can make us comtemplate our lives and realize that we want something different, not to change drastically but to improve our persona. We are not perfect but that doesn´t stop us from searching new feelings and thoughts or just old ones that enrich us.

He recibido a muchas personas en mi casa, por una noche, por dos semanas, venezolanos, extranjeros, una persona, siete personas, hombres, mujeres, parejas, bebés… pare usted de contar :D He disfrutado mucho ser host y espero que las buenas personas y las buenas historias continúen pasando por mi casa!

He surfeado la casa de venezolanos hasta ahora pues no he viajado al exterior, ha sido lo máximo pues el trato que he recibido es como el de un amigo de toda la vida.

Además de eso en el grupo de Caracas (donde vivía anteriormente) participé en muchos meetings y city tours, también tuve la oportunidad de ir a la Cascada del Vino (Edo. Lara) con varias personas del país.

Aquí en la isla no he visto mucha actividad (hasta ahora!) pero “if you build it they will come”, come then!

I´m interested in anything , everything and because of that in (almost) anybody. I´m a curious person so I´m easily distracted. Now, to narrow down the field I like books, traveling, talking about other cultures and customs, food, jewelry, antropology, fashion, movies, and so on and so forth :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Estar en un aterrizaje de emergencia por bomba en el avión (era mentira pero igual el capitan tuvo que aterrizar en Aruba) / Been on an emergency landing after a bomb scare (it was a lie but the captian had to land on Aruba anyway)

He recogido estos tips de diferentes posts de CS, algunos los he modificado a mi gusto / I´ve taken this tips from different CS posts, some I´ve changed to my liking:
* Trust your instinct / Confía en tu instinto
* Profiles and references can be helpful up to a point / Perfiles y referencias pueden ser útiles hasta un punto
* People that write in forums let slip personality tips about themselves not shown in their profile / Las personas que escriben en los foros muestran detalles de su personalidad que no está en su perfil (totally agree / totalmente de acuerdo!!!)
* Respect the rules of the place you´re visiting – country or couch / Respeta las reglas del lugar que estés visitando – país o couch
* Never accept being hosted by somebody with whom you haven't exchanged a number of private mails / Nunca aceptes ser hospedado por alguien con quien no hayas intercambiado correos privados
* Before going to a new country, find out all you can about the local usages and rules / Antes de ir a un país averigua todo lo que puedas sobre usos y costumbres
* Always travel with some "emergency money" to get a room in a hostel or cheap hotel if you get a strange feeling when you meet your host / Siempre viaja con dinero de emergencia para poder pagar un hotel si tienes un sentimiento extraño al conocer a tu host.
* When our own safety is concerned we can only use common sense, be alert and trust our instinct / Cuando sea tema de tu seguridad solo puedes utilizar el sentido común, estar alerta y confiar en tu instinto.
* Write down and ask for emergency telephone-number from CS people of the country you´re visiting / Escribe y pide teléfonos de emergencia de personas del CS del país al que estés visitando
* A negative experience is far worse than a negative reference / Una experiencia negative es peor que una referencia negativa
* When in doubt, write to some of the people that stayed or traveled with your potential host / Cuando en duda, escríbele a algunas de las personas que se han quedado o viajado con tu host potencial
