About Me

I'm a traveling designer and studio owner, working with US-based clients on branding and packaging projects! I love what I do and I'm looking to travel everywhere with the newfound freedom of working for myself. I spent 4 years as the in-house designer for Brooklyn Brewery where I developed a love for good beer, so I am always looking to hang out over a drink.

I'm a very mindful guest, and would love to get to know you and your city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted travelers several times throughout the last decade and remain friends with all of them! I'm working on freelance work for my studio while traveling, so I need a place with stable wifi and a secure place to keep all my stuff--my life is on my laptop!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was an early January night in Brooklyn, probably around 10 or so, and 3 of my friends and I were heading to the subway after grabbing drinks. It was snowing, and there were 3-foot-high snow drifts at the corners of the intersections. We started messing around throwing snowballs at each other, and when other people walked past laughing with us, we threw snowballs at them too. Then everyone that walked by got in on it, until it turned into a huge snowball war with forts on the corners and sneak attacks, and lots of uncontrollable laughter, and all with strangers. It was probably one of the most faith-in-humanity-restoring, spontaneous, fun things I've ever been a part of!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer design, photography, print consultation, high-fives, and pics of my beautiful Chow Chow in exchange for staying with you! I can also teach Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Would love to practice Spanish or be led to secret swimming spots. I'm straightforward; all I need is stable wifi and a bed!
