Overview
About Me
I can't tell all about me, I don't remember most of it. Well, mr-know-it-most, but I try to put a lid on it. Easy going most of the time, trying not to act my age, still trying to figure it all out although I know by now that I never will.
Coming to terms with that.
PHILOSOPHY
I 've lost it. Trying to find it, or a new one
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Praying hard for soft couches and exciting experiences for all the surfers out there.
Getting the occasional fridge magnet from happy visitors :)
by the way, if you want to send me a couch request, write something about fridge magnets. What's your favorite flavor? :P :D anything. I understand the use of mass requests, but I 'm paying extra attention to the requests that don't look like one.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Good ones and better ones. Hope my streak will last
Interests
I'm interested in more than I can handle, for the price of being superficially interested in most.
Ok, here it goes (random order):
history, religion, geography, taiji chuan, motorcycles, science, foreign languages, music, strange people, reading -4 or 5 months a year- bars 'n' drinking 'n' socializing
Still a very incomplete list...
- drinking
- motorcycles
- reading
- socializing
- music
- geography
- history
- languages
- religion
- science
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Spaghetti westerns, Tarantino, sci-fi, comedies from the obscenely ridiculous to the sophisticated, shitty action movies... actually not very proud of my taste in movies :)
Music: long story. Mainly rock and metal, also a lot of funk, balkan ethnic, a little bit of trance, Gogol Bordello (how do you list that?), prog rock, psychedelic rock, and many many more
Books: Umberto Eco is god. J.R.R.Tolkien, Nikos Kazantzakis, history books, varied reading now and then
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Left my dark, warm, quiet, loving nest and emerged out to the world. Still haven't got over that!
Teach, Learn, Share
Can't think yet... simple -or not so simple- computer skills I can teach, knots to tie your hammock, good Caipiroskas.
Learn? Life (but I'm a lousy student)
