ABOUT ME

I'm French but I lived 3 years in Rome, 9 years in Madrid and now in Lisbon for 1 year. So I have difficulties considering myself as French...
I love discovering new places and meeting new people, new ways of living and thinking.
I'd like to travel more, even though it's quite difficult because of my job (lot of works, few holidays), and I hope that thanks to CS (which I discovered trew my boyfriend who is an adept), I'll gave the opportunity to do it more.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting people and visiting CS people... exchanging!
I think it's a very special way to travel and a great opportunity to meet people.
But I have notices lately that people use CS to sleep for free more than to really meet people.
Most of the requests I receive are impersonal and it's obvious that the person has not read my profile...
I don't want to host people not really interested in meeting me, so please write me a personal message.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have lived few CS experiences since I'm with my boyfriend, and I have been very satisfied of it.
I have met great people and I've been able to see the places where I were in a special and more interesting way.

Interests

Cinema (I worked for this sector for few years), Music, Art, and every kind of cultural and artistic expression.
I also like to walk, to bike, to swim, to do some other kinds of sport and to practiceYoga.
We started Lindy Hop lessons few months ago, which is great.
And, very important: I try each day to live in a more sustainable way (which is becoming an obsession!). So I eat less meat, I avoid plastic and I use my bike ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Wouah, I could write a book on that themes...
I listen very differents kinds of music, from Asian Dub Foundation to Rossini, passing threw Serge Gainsbourg Blonde Redhead or MIA. I'm also a fan of my brother's electronic music and of Italian 80'trash music.
For Cinema I adore Jean Renoir, Truffaut, first movies of Cedric Klapish, Pasolini, Cohen Brothers and also belgian cinema... The last film which really moved me is the Cannes'Grand Prix "Un prophete" from Jacques Audiard.
In literature I like Dino Buzzatti, Celine, Haruki Murakami, Henry Miller, Catherine Cusset, David Lodge.... and many many others ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working in a Festival of Cinema, I had to coordinate a Jury composed by students of schools of Cinema from all over Europe and prisoners from a prison near Rome.
Their meeting to talk about the films they had seen has been such a great experience.

I promote knowledge sharing in my work and I like to .... communicate! I am very curious, know to ear other people 's stories and sharing experience.
