About Me

My name is Daniel, but my friends call me DK. I travel, eat, and listen to music, in that order. When I'm not doing those three things, I like to dabble in web design & development, linguistics, the arts, reading, and riding the 'œol bicycle. I most appreciate meeting new people, learning their culture, and eating their food.

I'm currently living and working in Tianjin, China. My main job here is introducing American sports to Chinese people. Baseball, American football, hockey, frisbee, foosball, line dancing, you name it. I'm surprised I get paid for this. More importantly, though, I'm studying the ridiculously complicated Chinese language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In January/February 2012, I couchsurfed all around the Middle East, including Turkey, Dubai, Jordan, and Egypt~

AND I've hosted many people here at my apartment in Tianjin, China.
