About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be free and creative as a child and wise like a man.

ABOUT ME
After few years working as software designer I quit y job for my big trip in October 2013 with the intention of traveling for 4 months in Asia...but you know plans change and now, almost after 2 years I was still on the road.

I have explored:
Chinese landscapes and "shanti shanti" temples in India, eat delicious spicy food, learnt chinese martial arts and muay thai, motorbike around vietnam, lived in the Australian outback and dived with sharks and turtle in Bali etc.

I'm really curious, I love to push myself and live out of my comfort zone.
I'm into environmental issues, healthy life style, meditation and sustainable living. I want to learn as much as I can and contribute to this new movement of young smart people trying to make a difference.

I'm looking for those experiences that you remember for all your life, for that moments that bring you a big pleased smile, for that people who disrupt your way of thinking, for those places that you don't need a photograph to remember.

hope you enjoy :)

I lived in 4 different countries (Italy, Switzerland, UK, Australia)
From a software designer, I've converted into an organic farmer in the process of starting a Permaculture business (organic and regenerative agriculture).
I spent 2017 living in a sort of eco-village in Italy.

PHILOSOPHY

My dreams are the fuel not the destination,
I leave the steering wheel, I enjoy the journey,
I look straight, I look sideways,
Every meter brings more awareness, new discoveries, new connections,
problems become opportunities to challenge myself, to break my limits,
I believe in myself, I have no fear,
I keep moving whatever it takes.

I'm here to explore, create and learn,
I'm here to live my life on my own terms,
follow my instincts, my passions, my dreams,
nobody can create my path except me.

Every moment it's unique, no second chances,
there is no tomorrow, no later,
Now it's the only moment that really exists,
Now it's the moment I live in, Now it's the moment I make a change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm an active member of London CS community, some of my regular friends are active CSers as well. I travel and host as much as possible.
When I travel alone, Cs meeting and are the first places where I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During the last 3 years I lived in different countries and travel whenever I could. CS is always been a good platform to start to make new friends and feeling at home. First time in a place and you don't know anybody? Lot of people are in you same situation and they look exactly for the same things as you.

I surfed some couches and floors, I showed around the city, I hosted, and I've joined events. I met a lot of interesting and different people that sometime completely blow up my vision of the world.

2013
I'm an active person, staying without doing anything is not for me. So after 2 days in a beautiful beach in Thailand I thought that jumping out from the boat, that was bringing me back to our village and swim for more than half kilometer in the open ocean, was a great idea. The boat arrived at the seaside without even look back, leaving me with my challenge, get back to the beach or wait for some shark. I don't why I did it, I'm freaky scared about not knowing what is under me.

Moved in London I challenged my leaver and myself to attend the circle line london pub crawl with some of the CS community. The London circle line, is an underground line with 28 stops and for each of them we got off, found the first pub and drank half pint of beer. The result was a 12hours beer tasting, started at 10am and finished around 11pm, with a total of 14pints. I have to mention that no food was allowed, "eating is cheating". The amazing thing was that, apart for couple of hours of black out in the middle, I was fresh and I thought that after all this a spanish party with more beers and sangria couldn't kill me. I don't remember how but I came back home on my legs.

Probably all these facts are not amazing as you imagined but are experience that challenge myself in some way and are part of my good memories, challenges.
