ABOUT ME

It's never easy to tell about yourself, even tho you are supposed to be the one who knows it best.
Anyways, I'm from a very small village, which is located somwhere in the middle of Latvia. As I live in countryside, I have grown up with woods, lakes and green fields around me. I love nature, but at the same time it makes me look for experience of big city and millions of people.
I love to go out, meet lots of new and diffrent people and learn from every and each of them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met some travelers, showed them around, as I'm not able to host at the moment.

I have been hosted by many amazing people all around Europe and Asia, it has been wonderful experiance. I am looking forward to host one day, when I will take a break from traveling myself.

兴趣

People, society, world religions. Why religions? Well, I'm not religious person myself, but I find it very interesting, how people believe in what they believe. This is one of the topics I like to discuss about.

Volunteering. I've been doing different kinds of volunteer work, related to youth.
At the moment I am volunteering in Varanasi, India. I am working as teacher and supervisor at institute, that is training future primary school teachers.

音乐、电影和书籍

Odd, but I'm not too much of a movie or book kind of person. As I major in Politics and History, I have to read quite a lot in school, so I better spend my free time different.

Music? Pretty much everything. I like Latvian music, but in general I enjoy rock/indie/experimental music. I enjoy almost everything which is in some way weird.

I have climbed a tree in order to save myself from angry rhino we met on our path in Chitwan national park, Nepal.

Oh, and also I can teach you a my mother language, with only less than 2 million native speakers - Latvian.
