About Me

CURRENT MISSION

find inspiration in berlin for the next chapter in life

ABOUT ME

i like talking and taking on new opinions and reassessing old ones too. i do a fair amount of cycling, but not enough. very interesting in building and crafts. i am currently designing and building lots of things for my room, and perhaps one day i'll take on bigger projects. i live and work in berlin. bartending and i also produce a drink: tonic syrup. natural landscape and urban grime, both appeal. long arms and legs.

I've always felt that true enlightenment comes from opening oneself to different people and experiences, which is the reason I have joined CS. I hope that many great times blossom from this site.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed the wave of friendliness and so far only hosted the surfers of friends, which is how I found this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've helped friends to host in the past and the chance to experience a world outside of your own (while sitting on your couch) is something which cannot be downplayed.

Interests

Cycling, Homebrewing, Book collecting, learning new things, attempting to learn more German, a bit of photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

In Bruges will be a modern classic of its age. Of this I am sure.

Books, well for example Hell's Angels by Hunter S Thompson is a great book. I think I enjoy books which show a world (especially non-fictional) which are on the edges of society- or simply ones which the normal person has no access to normally. Sometimes couchsurfing experiences can lead to encounters with these worlds!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I remember doing was visiting the Himalayas. Being amongst the mountains in that way was very humbling and awe-inspiring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit about bikes, beer or english, or a combination of the three.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Nepal, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Germany
