About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be happy, free, and whole.....

ABOUT ME

I'm 31 years old, love to travel, and love animals.

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes I can't find people to travel with me so I go alone. My philosophy is that you should never not do something because you have to do it alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One way I participated in couchsurfing was by organizing the first ever couchsurfing camp at the 2010 National Raiinbow Gathering in PA (you can read more about my experience at the gathering below). At this time I am unable to host but am always up for good conversation and travel buddies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met many people from couchsurfing and hope to meet many more in the future!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity in my lifetime to see many amazing things. At one point I wrote under this section that traveling solo through Europe was the most amazing thing I have done but this summer that all changed when I attended the National Rainbow Gathering in PA. I organized the first couchsurfing camp at the National Rainbow Gathering with great help from many other couchsurfers and we had over 200 people come through the camp. On my way to the Rainbow Gathering I got in a car accident so I ended up taking a bus as far as I could and hitch-hiking the rest of the way. This really renewed my faith in humanity. The who experience was wonderful and I really got to see all the good that people have to offer.

Teach, Learn, Share

Have you ever heard of the Me to We philosophy? It is based on the principals that if we all do little things in life to help other people, the world will be a much better place. If you see someone who is in need, say a homeless person, don't simply ignor them, offer them your lunch. It is these little things that will change the world. If anyone is interested there is a Me to We websight and a book as well. I highly recommend both.
