About Me

Globe-trotter who has been exploring the world for 16 years.

"'°*=•-~., _,.~-•=*°""'°*=•-~., _,.~-•=*°""'°*=•-~.,_,.~-•=*°""'°*=•-~.,_

Currently living in Singapore! Lived in Kuala Lumpur for 2.5 years. Before that, lived in Taiwan for 1 year to learn Chinese.

Before arriving in Taiwan, I was traveling the world for about 2.5 years. I traveled mostly in Asia but a little bit of Europe as well.
我來台灣以前,我旅行世界差不多兩年半了。我旅行亞洲跟歐洲。

The original plan was to travel for 5 months only, and then go back to San Francisco (where I was based) and continue with my career in software engineer, but, as I quickly learnt, plans change! I do not visit countries so that I can increase the "Number of countries visited" counter. I think it's way more interesting to visit fewer places but stay for longer, learn the language, the culture. I have a lot of stories to share!

One of my favorite quotes is 'Live as if you were going to die tomorrow; learn as if you were going to live forever.' --Gandhi. We only have one shot at it, so why not do what you want, instead of what others tell you? And honestly, they don't know themselves... we are all playing by ear here! So dance your own dance, sing your own tune! You'll soon inspire people to do the same! I'm not me, I'm the sum of all the people (and things) that inspired me.

If you are into any of the following, contact me immediately: psytrance, flow arts, contact improv dance, sustainable communities, alternative currencies, alternative life-styles, ethical non-monogamy, improv comedy.

Other hobbies and activities I like are numerous! I like trying things I've never done before. When you message me, please say fire dancing so I know you read my profile. I like scuba diving, spinning poi, fire dancing, juggling, learning languages. I miss snowboarding, fencing (the sport), and football, I took acting and fictional writing classes, and also some Argentine tango! I've also done once or twice climbing, skydiving, and rafting. I'm pretty much open to try anything.

PHILOSOPHY

"The World is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion."
--€œThomas Paine

- Spent 5 days in the Nevada desert for Burning Man 2011 and it was one of most amazing experiences of my life. Amazing event, Met so many amazing people, amazing culture. Out of this world music and scenery! Then I went back to Burning Man in 2012 and 2013!
