I love traveling and am curious about everything foreign and new. I can talk for hours and love to laugh - and do that a lot. I enjoy good coffee and wine, try to reduce my footprint on our planet (think: I try to buy most of my veggies and fruits locally and support green energy) and love being outdoors.

Interests

I love spending time with people, furthermore I love music and art and having time for a good book. I like cooking with friends and enjoy sewing and making something unique. I like hiking and being outdoors as much as possible. And of course: Traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, I like movies if they're done right. I do enjoy almost every genre, except for gooey romantic film, bad comedies and horror movies (because I'm afraid of the monsters under my bed :D )

Music: I'm open to all kinds of music, but currently I'm listening to a lot of singer/songwriter and electronic stuff (I know, that that's a strange combination ;)

Books: Way too many, I really love to read. Seriously, I could never live without books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being to an Indian Marriage, which was a "Love Marriage" and seeing how people fight for something real against all odds and even castes - and win! And having to wear a Sari for that. When it was my turn to go on stage to give the happy couple my present, I was scared to death that everything might fall apart and I would be standing there half naked... Luckily that didn't happen :o)

And Scuba diving, which has taken my heart by storm this past year :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach both German and English and give some first hand experience in working with children (and some ideas of really fun games - not only for children). I can tell you all about my seven months living, working and traveling in India if you're interested ;o)

Learn: Yoga. Foreign cultures. Hindi. Sign Language. All about your travel experiences. Everyhing new to me. Plus I want to relearn to play my guitar and learn how to play the harmonica.
