About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Waiting for vacation!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm in Berlin right now and living close to the airport and we'll connected to the inner city. My home is an old suburban villa with a nice garden and not well heated in winter. The place is best for guest who are into nature, gardening, healthy food and chilling at a lake. For the inner city you will have to take public transportation next to my house.
Surfers from Asia - especially from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China and Thailand are highly welcome ^ ͜• ^

PHILOSOPHY

Save water - bath with a friend!
CouchSurfing is not for free, it's only that - different to other projects - the host is the financing part. So while surfing I will try to be as economical as possible with water, electricity etc. and offer to return these costs.
I'm running a 100% "I break it - I fix it" policy. I try to be as careful as possible, but just in case - I won't leave my host alone with the damage.
I will try to be as swift as possible and leave as few traces as possible.
Will try to be as helpful as possible...so don't hesitate to ask me to fix something in your home or on your car...that's what engineers are for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always love to host friends and meet new interesting ppl...
Right now I'm more static in Berlin than traveling, so I'm more a hosting CouchSurfer. There have been a lot of guests requesting a couch the last months and sadly I couldn't accept all of them, even so I offered an emergency accommodation on a field bed. I'm always extremely exited hosting guest from far away, especially from Asia. So if you are intending to visit Berlin, I would be very pleased to receive your requests!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I became a member of CS in 2009 I hosted about 200 surfers. It was a great experience and with some of them I even became close friends. The only sad experience on CS is the moment when it's time to say "Good Bye!"

One of my hobbies is being a gold smith and I got a small workshop in Berlin producing jewelery for friends and family. Also like to repair all kind of broken stuff...so if you got trouble with your backpack or bike - welcome!

Depending on the season I can offer organic fruits, jam, juice and wine. Usually I also share my meals with my guests and cook traditional German and Asian food, but also fun to dine out and show nice and affordable local restaurants.
