About Me

"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere."

ABOUT ME

I could say I'm an awesome person, really funny, beautiful, very interesting, but that wouldn't be very objective!
So let's meet, and then you'll get your own opinion ;)

After a year solo travelling in Asia from France to Indonesia over land, I am now back to "normal" life and enjoying the everyday life with my lover.
But still trying to fit as much as travelling as we can !

PHILOSOPHY

Tough one...
I don't know if I really have a philosophy. I just try to enjoy the life how it comes; with the good and the bad things which comes with it...
Life can be rude. but it also can be wonderful.
and when you're experiencing these hard moments of life, having a couchsurfer can make you think "There are some very interesting and nice people overthere. You just have to find them and meet them!" and when you're enjoying your life, being in a good mood, then you enjoy it even more :D

"Don't dream your life, live your dreams!"
"Limits exist only in the mind"

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and me is a long story. I couldn't stand without music. Music makes me live, gives me emotions, like nothing else can! To each kind of emotion, you can find a music to go with.
And like we were saying with a CS friend one day: "It connects people. No matter their language, no matter their culture, it's just anothere way to communicate."

Bellow a bunch of stuff I like to listen to :
70's Rock music (The Doors, Pink Floyd, led Zep)...)
Some blues (Buddy Guy, Robert Johson, BB King...)
Dub music and some Trip Hop (High Tone, Portishead, Massive Attack...)

And after, I lived in the US for a year. I met some people who introduced me to some experimental music, and electronic stuff (Frank Bretschneider, Mikkel Metal) and then the Berlin School and KrautRock music (Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk)

Nowadays I like to mix all theses kind of music, depending of the mood I'm in... and still looking for new genres, new artists! New passion is Psychedelic Trance: gives you energy!!!
And also minimalist music (La Monte Young, Philip Glass) or contempary classic piano (Poppy Ackroyd)

Movies has also been important in my life. I've been making some video clips for about 6 years, and am a big fan of Tarratino's movies, or Aronofsky movies. In one word, I like fucked up movies :)

Books haven't been my thing for a long time. But since recently I read more and more. Last one I partculary enjoyed was "The Art of Dreaming" from Carlos Castaneda.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- 1 500 kms hitchiking around Iceland,
- Skydving in New Zealand
- Party hard while listening to Trance Goa in Goa :)
- Driving 8 000 kms across Indonesia by motorbike
- France to Indonesia over land: https://vimeo.com/142047750
- Wild camping in Armenia with my love

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some french of course. but also some cooking (wich happened to be one of my new hobby). Actually I won't teach you, but we can cook together an awesome meal!

and sharing....? isn't sharing the basics of Couch Surfing? Sharing and exchange. I have lot to share. You'll just have to ask or find it ;)

The whole life is a learning process. You learn new things EVERY single day. Even through your dreams you can learn things. You just have to be aware of that. Brain is a complex tool and very powerful. And the mind is infinite...
