About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying every bit of life

ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty six year old living in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. I spend my days working in a high rise to pay the bills, and aim to make the most of my weekends. I love being out doors, hanging out in parks in the city, going to baseball games, and finding fun new bars and restaurants to try. I love that I live in a city that embraces micro/craft beer and will try any brew once. My humor is pretty sarcastic, but you wouldn't want me any other way. I'm open to exploring new places and getting a new perspective on life from all kinds of people.

PHILOSOPHY

"All the world needs to go 'round is love."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Opening my door & offering my couch to fun & interesting people traveling through my city when I am able.

I'm interested in surfing more and meeting with surfers in other locations, though I do not travel as often as I like.

If I can't host I'm always down to meet up for some coffee or drinks after work, & can definitely give some great suggestions of places to go & things to see in my fun city.

I have found that Couch Surfer meet-ups are a fantastic way to meet new people in your city, invite travelers into your world, and experience someone else's "norm" in another place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been pretty amazing so far. Finding things in common with people from all over the world, as well as just finding new friends in my city, has been absolutely wonderful. I love showing off Philly to visitors & I get really excited when I get to experience the non-traditional/non-touristy parts of the places I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Invited a couch surfer from another country to a music & beer festival in Philadelphia with a group of friends. Through stories and conversation, it was discovered that the couch surfer guest grew up in the same hometown as a close friend, before he moved to another country. Small, small world.

Seeing people open up completely, and trust each other with stories and secrets so soon after meeting. Couch Surfing brings amazing people together.

Teach, Learn, Share

Find someone you can travel well with and be yourself. Be honest always. Be thankful for every good thing and every bad thing, they all make the journey worth while.
