About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I like making people laugh...laugh until their belly hurts

ABOUT ME

I like making people laugh, animals, cooking, eating strange foods, the great outdoors, traveling, scuba diving, sailing, meeting new friends and experiencing different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I lost my mother this year and although I feel completely alone at times I want to bring sunshine into the world by opening my mind to traveling and meeting new people and hearing their stories about their interests and experiences, most importantly making new friends and feeding my soul with love, happiness, and good feelings

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy playing host and taking care of people. My first experience with CS was in Argentina and I loved my hosts it really meant so much to me that strangers took the time to welcome me into their home and share their world with me. I want to take that experience and share it with people that I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing when I traveled to Buenos Aires 3 years ago and it was an amazing, life changing experience

Interests

Writing, golfing, kayaking, riding my pink vespa, dancing, laughing, cooking, walking my dog, making people smile

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost all kinds of music, I try to make my own but it is pretty awful ):I don't watch much television but when I do I like the Discovery Channel-Planet Earth, Travel Channel-No Reservations, The Layover and National Geographic-Locked Up Abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sneaking up to the rooftop of the Tokyu building In Shibuya Crossing Tokyo, Japan. It involved a lot of climbing and jumping and law breaking! Definitely worth it to see the view from the top though. Eating tarantulas in Cambodia, Flying an airplane along the Appalachian Mountains, Climbing along the Iguazu Falls in South America...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to sail a boat.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, France, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Paraguay, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
