About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travelling all over the world meeting lots of interesting people, broaden my horizon...

ABOUT ME

Basically I am a very uncomplicated, humorous, ambitious person, eager to travel as much as possible and meeting new people. I figured I am actually addicted to travelling:)
Good food has always made me happy and will always do so - open for new suggestions!

I have spend quite a few months abroad, esp. in New Zealand - what an awesome country! Often on my own I realized that I am a really optimistic person, in any sense.

Sometimes I get the feeling I want to do too much at once. Well, it has worked out so far, so why not?

PHILOSOPHY

I wish I was still in bed. I'd hear the rain fall onto the window panes, and I'd pull the blanket over my head, get all cozy and toasty and fall back asleep...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think the CS Project is a perfect option for getting to know people while travelling and somewhat nicer to have people around you sharing same interests. The cool thing about it is that you can enrich your life by hosting people on the one side - on the other side though profit yourself if you don't want to stay somewhere boring like a hotel or something and rather prefer a nice couch and a nice circumference!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I signed up a few years ago, having heard lots of good things about it and am very curious and look forward to meeting nice people:)
I have had several great CS experiences in Scandinavia and New Zealand, absolutely fantastic times!
In New Zealand I joined several CS meetings and had great weekends with travel buddies!

Interests

I enjoy sports, mostly outdoors like jogging, tennis or kajaking recently. Great for a change after long working days! The mix of my favourite music might sound a bit strange - raggae, electro, classics, folk music, ... don't like techno though.
People tell me that I'm quite good in cooking. This might be because I LOVE to eat and try new things. Convince yourself! Basically, hanging out with friends is what I like best...

Almost forgot: travelling is what I have been doing on my own since more than 10 years and I can't get enough of it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess there's lots more to explore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waking up in the most amazing bays of New Zealand. The sun is shining upon the tent, the Pacific Ocean only a few feet away. It's only a few degrees above freezing outside. Lots of mist over the waters - as if the sea is boiling. Wondering how to spend the day and realizing that there are tons of things which are way more important than a scheduled life at home.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Cabo Verde, Cambodia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Montenegro, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
