ABOUT ME

Hi :) I'm Dovile—. My name in Lithuanian means "the one who gives hope". So, if you ever need some, don't bother and ask me.
I'm a dreamer. I seek perfection everywhere, even though I know that it exists nowhere.
I'm completely in LOVE with nature and living in the big city makes me miss it A LOT. I could say, I miss my forests and sea more than I miss my friends/family/home.
I'm positive and open-minded. However, it is said that the most depressed people are the ones who laugh the most.
I want to study and learn but, of course, university is not enough for me. I want more, more and, one more time, more! I never get enough before I burn my fingers. And I don't mind burning my fingers.

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy every single day of my life! Doesn't matter whether it's rainy or sunny, whether it's winter or summer, whether I'm laughing or crying.
I believe there's not much other point in life than that, I mean than taking it as it is and enjoying it as much as possible, till you die. Yep, that's kinda it :)

I see every thing that happens in my life as experience and chances. Experience is ALWAYS a positive thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm at home (=Lithuania) I can meet you, guide you, teach you, be your dictionary and your map :)
When I'm at my second home (=France) I can meet you and explore the city together, however, I don't feel like a local here yet. Just letting you know. I could maybe host you, that depends on my (and my boyfriend's, who I'm living with) schedule.
When I'm travelling (=the rest of the world), I hope to meet the locals, tell the stories, feel the atmosphere of the place, learn and share things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done some couchsurfing in Paris and that's one the most AWESOME experience ever! After this I fulfilled my dream to come and live in the city of lights, fashion and love.
I've got to know some people on CS who are now my very very good friends.
And, by the way, I met my bf on CS and we're very happily together now, both exploring Paris :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Those nights spent under the stars in minus temperature, when it's too cold to go to tents so you stay up, next to the fire all night long;
The storms in Baltic sea, when the sea shows its true character and magnificent power;
The 50 km long hikes along the beach, when you don't meet a person and feel the complete harmony with the nature...

Teach, Learn, Share

If only you're willing to learn, I'm willing to teach :) You can chose form various subjects, like: Lithuanian language, cuisine (well... I'm not the best at cooking, I'm learning myself), folklore (songs and dances); dance ( what about some ballet?); rhythmic gymnastics (all the flexible stuff like splits); playing the recorder (although this sounds lame, it can be actually pretty cool, when you master it!)...
