Welcome to The Circus Of Contemporary Art which now encompasses all that is left of The Van Jones Art Museum...after the fire. I'm Gabriel Van Jones, mild mannered super hero of the arts, creative all rounder, and ring master here at COCA. I will be your host if you are coming to the Circus...Fashback to UPDATE! On March 25th 2015, while I was visiting my mother in Boston for her birthday, The Van Jones Art Museum (as it was from 2002 till that date) burnt down to the ground, art collection, music instruments/studio,clothing, library and all... If you had the pleasure of surfing with us and consider yourself fortunate and would like to help us rebuild...

May I remind you that if you are surfing with me you will be surfing at the Circus Of Contemporary Art, a unique and inspiring cultural(perhaps even cosmic) experience in it's own right so if you hope to surf here you should show some interest in this or I will probably ignore your request. Amsterdam is full of famous museums with much to offer to tourists...here at COCA we cater more to the artists and the muses themselves, though brave well informed and interested tourists are welcome. I believe COCA is the only museum in Amsterdam where it is possible to couchsurf... we do suggest a donation of äs much as you can possibly afford" for admission if you are staying more than an hour,,,(if you are staying for a week, we'll be expecting a bit more)Coffee tea etc, shower, fireside entertainment, music, and more are included for free with your couch. Come enjoy and support the arts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a surfer...I get around from town to town...meeting new people and surfing their couches. The truth is, I rock the couch!
As a host I just love to share the creative cultural experience that is my life in the Amsterdam underground and at The Circus Of Contemporary Art AKA The
