About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life to the fullest!

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with.
I intend on getting the most out of life, which I think requires a healthy balance of organisation and spontaneity.
I love my friends and family, as well as meeting new people.
I can be very social and outgoing, but I can also be pretty introverted and introspective.
Big cities are fun and exciting for a while, but I prefer quiet country living.
I'm a nomad at heart and get restless when I stay in one place for too long.

INTJ. OCD. PBS mind in an MTV world.
I love life and the challenges it brings.
I am determined to change the world.

PHILOSOPHY

None of us get out of this life alive, make the most of it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Braveheart, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, A river runs through it, Schindler's list, Master and Commander, Equilibrium, Karate kid, Bourne series, James Bond, Inception, Sandlot, The Sound of Music, Ice age, Benchwarmers, Anything with Gene Kelly, many more.

Music: I like a lot of music and will listen to almost anything as long as it's good. I'm a huge Bob Dylan and Beatles fan and grew up on classic rock and bluegrass. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Punch Brothers, Avett Brothers, Shakey Graves and Willie Watson. But my listening preferences fluctuate frequently. My favorite genres are Jazz, Classical, Folk/Bluegrass, Indie, and Blues.
I like anything from Frank Sinatra to Modest Mouse, James Taylor to Kings of Leon. I just can't stand death metal or anything involving screaming and banging of instruments instead of playing them.

Books: Bible, Dictionary, C.S. Lewis, Pilgrim's Progress, The Hobbit, Grapes of Wrath, Anthill, Dr. Seuss, History books, especially midievil, Roman, and early American history, Folk tales, Mythology, Political books, MacBook, many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2010 I traveled almost 30,000 miles, through 15 states (in the US), 5 countries, and 3 continents. I will never forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: If anyone is interested in learning anything I know, then I am willing to teach them. Three things people may be interested in are...

1. Music, I play several instruments and have a solid understanding of basic musical theory.

2. English. I have overseas teaching experience.

3. Farming/Gardening, I grew up on a farm, I know how to grow a lot of things.

Learn: All that I can about everything I can, from anyone or anything I can.

Share: Ask me anything.
