To take a complete leap of faith into the unknown and try something completely new and maybe discover resources within myself that I have not exploited

ABOUT ME

Worked in South Africa, was offered a job in the UK and met and married my husband there. Raised 4 sons and then husband disappeared with a blond in a sports car.... Returned to South Africa for the youngest to finish schooling, and to re-invent myself. Will now try to do things for MY soul and to give back some decades of wisdom and hopefully discover other travellers who want to see where life leads.

PHILOSOPHY

Accept only bullshit when it is clearly understood that is what it is...there is too much angst caused by duplicity. Find someone to connect with (even in the smallest way) every day.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like crime novels, psychological thrillers, historical etc...well just about any genre that is well-written. I like most music, but have probably had my fill of head-banging type c/o the children. If I am given a Soduko book, the conversation better be lively or I will be scribbling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent four weeks in the Cloud Forest near Mindo, Ecuador and absolutely loved it! As a plant-lover I became aware of how plans have been transported from there all over the world. Unfortunately it is not all positive things that are being imported.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love doing hand paint finishes to walls. I would love to learn Spanish so that my next trip to South America will be even more fulfilling than the last.
