ABOUT ME

I'm a Public Happiness creator, i spend my days building projects to create more peace and well-being in the world. For ten years as a global volunteering community, but now relaunching as a blockchain backed economic system which rewards people for taking positive action on societal issues, like homelessness, climate emergency, loneliness and isolation.. pretty much anything our members care about and can find a great idea to make a difference to it.

Its just something i started to record his early years but has ended up a really cool story book of life living by the beach in Porto, and you can see all of us, our home, and what life here is like in there.

nothing lifted my spirits when i was backpacking more than acts of kindness from random strangers, i'm just passing on their good vibes...and now theres a website for it, how awesome is this!!!

the wrong way home by peter moore- i learnt everything i know about backpacking from this most excellent book...i was given it by a friend to scare me off a crazy trip i was thinking about and i've never travelled anywhere without it since :D

found a job as a whitewater rafting guide in New Zealand, i'd never been before and my first trip was a grade 5 (6 in american) ice/glacier melt river taking a helicopter (also my 1st) up to a place where very few feet had ever stood then rafting down.
the view was astonishing and water had this weird light blue glow (something to do with minerals) and was completely fresh, you could just scoop it up and drink it- when not holding on for your life down the rapids.

got some good backpacking and hitchiking tips.
i have previously taught yoga, martial arts/self defence, snorkelling, whitewater rafting, caving, windsurfing...i enjoy passing on knowledge so just ask me about one of these.
i can also share what i know about slack lining (tight rope walking), trampoleening, ceroc dancing...and probably a few more things, i always like to be learning something new
