About Me

Hot dang, this here website has changed a good bit (just started using CS again as of Feb 20, 2015).

I still think it's important to list my current mission though, so here it is:

CURRENT MISSION

Learn to sepll

ABOUT ME:

I'm the third of six children. My philosophy consists of two rules, both of which being "Don't talk about Fight Club".

OH, and reading is wonderful. Riding bikes aint bad either. I like the sea and the great lakes, and my favorite river is the Rhone followed by the Mississippi. I like feeling connected with the earth, but am not by any means a hippie.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to make of my life a good story. Riches would be nice maybe, power and fame as well, but I'll take interesting over any and all of them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meetings and hosting and surfapalooza! I also organize the occasional meeting. Well, I did. Then I stopped. But now I'm back.

Interests

I like biking places, playing with legos, learning how to speak French better, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right at this instant I am reading For Whom the Bell Tolls.

My favorite movies right now are "Une Femme est Une Femme," "Casablanca," and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

My favorite band at the moment is... oh gosh I don't know.

Either Beirut, Weezer, Tom Waits, the Avett Brothers, or Dr. Dog. All excellent! Ty Dolla Sign is pretty good, too

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to live in a castle.

I held a 2000+ year old Roman coin found in Jerusalem. Same type of coin they used in the New Testament of the Bible. Think what you will of the people in the Bible, but holding something they may've touched was pretty darn cool.

Also, once I ate a cricket and it tasted like attic. GROSS!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hitch-hiking is a great way to meet a great variety of people from all walks of life, it's a great way to really immerse yourself into a culture!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know poetry. Well, I've memorized one long poem. It's really good. It's by Shel Silverstien.

Other than that I can share pretty much anything else. Like noodles. If I'm eating noodles, and you would like to have some (for example) I'll share with you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, France, United States
