ABOUT ME

Ha ha I love couchsurfers: Somebody wanted me to pick them up at the airport at midnight on Christmas Eve and take them to the bus depot the next morning at like 6 a.m. I thought that was so cute. *Snicker* I've been a journalist for 30 years ... been living in Costa Rica for the past nine and now I live in Colombia ... I have an interest in various businesses there including coffee and mineral resources. I enjoy the company of other journalists or business people, especially those who have travelled extensively but I'm affable and will talk to just about everyone. I enjoy conversation, and encouraging young people to travel and experience other cultures ... hence my interest in the couch surfing network.

Been to 35 countries, participated in many business trips as a travel writer around the world. Never been to Africa!
