About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a colorful mushroom instead of a sad broccoli at the plate side

ABOUT ME

I'm a colorful mushroom with legs, an Amanita Muscaria that goes through the world step by step. Sometimes I turn into a gray shy mushroom when I don't know people very well, but after a while get cheerful and very talkative.

I love talking from the most non sense and comedic things to meaningful and insightful conversations... a trade of knowledge.

Actually I'm not a mushroom from Earth since I came in a spaceship to Lisbon. I love my city and I love showing it to other people and enjoy our sunny days, but also the rain on the window while I drink some creamy hot chocolate in a cafe with good background music.

I'm a dog mushroom, but I also like cats. I'm also more into bars and pubs than clubs but if I'm in the mood and the company is nice I'll go along.

I love margaritas. Nothing better than being in a jazz club drinking a margarita, but actually the best I've drunken until now was in a Mexican Restaurant... yammi!

I also love wine and this only happened until a while ago. Portuguese wines are amazing. Red wine in Winter warms the soul and green wine in Summer refreshes the body.

Gosh, why have I written two paragraphs about drinks?

Sometimes I get this agonizing feeling like the clock is ticking too fast and I haven't made enough of my life yet. I feel this need of exploring the world, an hunger that gets out of control.

Believe it or not, I've only been to a Fado House twice. I loved it... the environment is mytical.

Now lets get to food, since a mushroom needs to eat right? I love Italian food. Lasagna for president! Japanese food and mexican food yammi! I also like Portuguese seafood. And now a paragraph about food?

God this mushroom must be fat and drunk!

And why does the word Gonorrhea comes to my mind now? Don't you hate when that happens? And now it's stuck in your head. Yack.

I should stop writing now.

I can't really tell you much about me in a profile.

I could spend all day saying how nice and open minded I am, but I rather say that I'm nasty, evil, trash talker, backstabber, annoying, and all those nice things so get to know me at your own risk!

If after all my written ramblings you still decide to meet than my gentleman/lady you're brave and you deserve my eternal admiration!

PHILOSOPHY

"Mean, if you gotta care for one day, man
Say, maybe, you wanna care for 365 days, right?
You ain't got it for 365 days, man
You got it for one day, man
Well, I'll tell you that one day, man, better be your life, man
Because you know, you can say
Oh Man,
you can cry about the other 364
But your gonna lose that one day, man
And that's all you got"

I try to live life to the fullest eventhough some days I'm just lazy bones.

And also, I've been learning that we have to give ourselves the chance to make mistakes and that our path isn't always straight, nobody's perfect. In our own stride we'll get there somehow.

I don't know much yet, still learning the best way to live my life. I try not to harm anybody nor myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Some of my favourite movies were Cable Hogue Ballad, Big Fish, Magnolia and others that moved me and presented me some interesting points of view. I also like some David Lynch films and Donnie Darko.

Movies of aesthetical beauty, good plot or even non sense.
I also like some musicals, such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Rocky Horror Picture Show 'cause I'm a sweet transvertite lalala

Social dystopias like Mad Max, Blade Runner or A Clockwork Orange.

Best animes I've ever seen: Elfen Lied and Death Note.

Music:
I tend to be very eclectic, I like to listen from rock to blues, from jazz to classical. From Charles Mingus to Moody Blues, From Janis Joplin to White Stripes, Iron Maiden to Beethoven... I also love some portuguese bands. I think we have many good ones. It depends on my mood.

Books:
Poetry
Tales of Edgar Allen Poe
1984
Blindness
So many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping from a airplane and all the moments in my last trip to Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

Like that one indian legend of the blind men and the elephant, each one has a different perspective of things, nor totally wrong, nor totally right, we just have to respect each other's points of view and join the small pieces of eachother together.

I can also teach you the fine art of doing nothing and talk nonsense.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you hell. Come at your own risk.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Portugal
