About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and explore some more

ABOUT ME

In my childhood my family moved a lot and I guess that is why I developed my love for traveling and exploring new places.

I've hosted people a lot in Chicago a few years back and now looking to get back into it.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short so why not spend it seeing this great world of ours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have surfed and hosted a bunch of times now. I've had awesome experiences hosting people. Every experience is a bit unique in some way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had so many great experiences surfing and hosting people. From spontaneous parties to last hour hosting saves, i can't pick just one awesome experience...there were so many!

Hosted 12 people for lalapalooza...craziness to the extreme!

Interests

Traveling, tennis, having a good time, reading a nice book (classics) enjoying some nice company. I like having conversations about a variety of topics, politics, economics, culture, sports (big soccer/basketball/NFL fan).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies....hhmmmm mostly European classics (Russian, French, Italian)If I have the time (rare) then it's usually classics (Russian and German writers, some Brits too)Music (rock, and some techno...yeah i know big difference)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked 20 miles to finally end up at a glacier...exhausted and wet. Yet it was the actual hike that was the most interesting part...from sliding down snow covered mountain slopes on my ass and to trying to chase down a mountain goat, all these things made the experience amazing. Even if the end goal was a bit dissapointing (the glacier pretty much melted).

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't rush through a new city, slow down and try to experience life as locals would.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Monaco, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom
