ABOUT ME

Red and Yellow. Green/gray and deep Pacific. A cancer, though not superstitious, unless you try to remove a ring from my finger. I hold my breath through any tunnel. I listen but I make mistakes constantly. I drink wine, and swear in foreign languages. And I love California with all my soul and Proudly say I'm Hellof Californian!

PHILOSOPHY

Original Epicuras:
1. Good food; Food that satisfies you and fills you with awe, NOT a banquet like many neo-epicureans will have you believe.
2. Free mind; maybe not the way he found it (separated commune) but however you are able
3. Good company; people you can really discuss with and laugh with.
And always be ready for Lady Fortune to give and take as she likes!
And of course the Golden Rule, though maybe not "of course" anymore, but that's how I live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm sort of starting over again. I would like to host people who visit my Bay Area by running about outside going to all sorts of places. I'd like to share experiences with people visiting and with people who already live here. A lot of times we forget to be a tourist in the place we live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not too much except with host families in school. So I know what Not to do.

Interests

Gardening (a new one for me, but I love getting dirt in my nails!), reading, seeing theatre, being in theatre, madly dancing, surfing and SUPping, diving, working on a boat,...and running through the sprinklers, of course. OOH and slacklining!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I pet a wild seal...it let me! honest to goodness!

I have taken one trapeze class and l-o-v-e-d it! Will take another one in October.

I saw the Great Wall of China and the Eiffel Tower. And had the most amazing steak with roquefort sauce and round cut potatos in Paris.

Swam with whales and dolphins.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to become sustainable, ie sustainable growing, living, recycling...

I know how to crochet. And make pancakes. And egg scrambles.

I'd LOVE to learn how to make my own wine...

I want to learn how to write well too...

I know how to drive really well, AnD I enjoy it! If you're lucky you can see my talent in the city. especially in parallel parking....
