ABOUT ME

A motivated, confident and resourceful tourism professional with a passion for the fields of travel and education. An outstanding youth trainer with a particular interest in adventure and charity work.
I have varied experience working in education, in community based ecotourism and have been responsible for managing staff and projects in varied situations.

I have build a great life around this sleepy himalayan valley...working as a lecturer in tourism with the Government PG college, working as a social enterprenuer with Sunshine Himalayan Adventure and working as a social worker through my project the Kullu project.

I have done my Masters in Philosophy (M.Phil) in Ecotourism from Vinayaka Missions University Salem and have a Masters degree in Tourism Administration from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla and have done my schooling done from GSS-Kullu, Naval Public School- Delhi, OLS - Kullu, Bishop Cotton School - Shimla.

PHILOSOPHY

Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over,
it became a butterfly.We shall not cease from exploration And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started And know the place for the first time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well one of the couch surfers stayed at my house and reminded me that i am a couch surfer as well. Its a great concept. lets see when i use it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Research Work in MPhil on Ecotourism in the Himalayas- coz i believe in the concept. Climbed Stok Kangri ( 6100 meters) in Ladakh , met the western tragopan, did a solo trek in the GHNP, para glided all over the kullu valley ...adventures galore.
