ABOUT ME

I'm just livin' the dream traveling around the world by a stack of nearly maxed out credit cards. I figure that everyone I know is in massive debt with student loans, medical bills, weddings, mortgages and usually a combo of the above. I just thought I'd do it by actually doing something I love.

I have a complete obsession with Japan and Spain, and I really want to spend at least a year in both countries. I am a budding chef, ready to explore every possible food this beautiful world has to offer. I have been to a number of countries, but my biggest fear is flying (go figure!) Should we go seek out some live music or go on a road trip?! YES!

I think this program is epic! I just heard about it while traveling and I am stoked to meet lots of awesome people in their countries and for them to come stay in my own! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed a couple times, but it was so much fun! I love having the local experience instead of just being the usual tourist. What a great organization :)

Interests

Cooking and eating everything... the more exotic the better, Catching up on rad music from around the globe, Learning cocktails the world over to get people interested in new drinks in the States, Making friends with eveyone on earth!, sleeping, napping, sleeping, cat napping, the occasional doze :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Salsa, Blues, (Or anything you can dance 'west coast swing' to) Tango, Flamenco, Scottish and Irish folk music, Bluegrass, East Indian style music.... I 'heart' MUSIC!!! (except that new poppy shite the kids are listening to) :)

I love any movie that makes me laugh 'til I cry. Thrillers are nice too! Actually, my criteria for a good movie consists of the following; guns, violence, women or drugs. If it has these, it can't be too bad :)

I'm not really much of a book person, as reading text books is the all consuming college way of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are parts of Scotland that are so beautiful, I nearly cried. Lame, I know, but it's true. Glenco, seriously, GO THERE!
