ABOUT ME

I've had a mixed bag of jobs, elderly carer, door to door salesman, bookshop assistant, graphic designer, waiter,gardener, sound assistant etc. I'm currently studying a Masters degree in Sound for the Moving Image. I've lived in a co-op before in London so appreciate the community attitude and pulling ones own weight. I've lived and worked on several farms too which I'll hopefully always do intermittently.

PHILOSOPHY

I always like to keep an open mind as much as I can. I've been helped out many times on my travels and I'll always try to reciprocate them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've finally settled for the first time in a while and once I have my first solo space up and running I can lend out my couch. I'm a friendly respectful person and love to meet new people and hear their stories. I try and make myself useful as best I can whenever I'm a guest. I also play guitar and a little banjo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed on a couch for 3 weeks when I was in Prague, it was a lovely person I met on the circuit. I've stayed on the couch of a jewish seminary wing of Columbia University and odd floors in Brooklyn. I lived in a very transient house, we always had waifs and strays, bands staying with us. We had Damo Suzuki from CAN stay once. I have couch surfed around New York, San Francisco,New Jersey and across Canada.

Interests

I think that's a premature question, and a relative one at that. If I thought about that now, I would have to compare all future experiences to it!

Teach, Learn, Share

So far I can play a bit of guitar and banjo, recommend books, music and films to you. I'll pick things up as I go so any teaching I can provide will be accumulative.
