ABOUT ME

I am 54 I work daily as a nurse in psychiatry and I love my job.
When I have my days off, I like to see my family, like to ride my bicycle in the Netherlands ,somewhere.
I do enjoy the company of children, like to play games etc.
I am specially interested how families live in other countries, and had some wonderful experiences.
When I had visitors in my home , I showed them a bit of the Netherlands on the bicycle, which goes together with the couch deal. Ik couched befor CS was on the internet!! I picked up the tourists and learned a lot abouth them !
My interests are in antropology and I am a very curius person. I like to have fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had sauerkraut with meat for breakfast in Poland, while the host was in the line for the shops for hours early in the morning in the winter(really cold).Years ago, but very impressing, and she wouldnot accept a gift of the netherlands, (chocolat!!, to proud)special thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had my most wonderful experiences with families where I lived with for a while.
The most difficult thing was to hear parents abusing their children in Guatamala, where it happened everywhere, a common thing.......

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned a global lot about old religions , cultures , filosofies... and I like to learn more. I think the teachter and student are the same.
I can cook vegetarian food lovely!!
My greatest hobby is to learn new things from people, how they deal with big issues , sorrow, family problems, dead , illnes.It looks heavy, but is really interesting stuff.
I like to do games with children or adults.(board games)
