About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be bold, and go where no man has gone before.

ABOUT ME

Maybe this world was made for me to wonder it.

I recently graduated from culinary school and now am embarking on future projects such as urban sustainable living. I try to help create a better world through laughter and camaraderie. I am an explorer.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm to late and a buck short.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined. It looks like this is probably going to be one of the most useful online communities I have ever come across. I am an active traveler and I vow to continue to boast the fruits of this website to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my childhood was couch surfing. I was never a homebody and now that I'm grown I can spread out and cs all over the world. Wait-a-go-go inter-web.

Interests

Not in any particular order: cats, rats, dogs, fishing, bird watching, hilarious movies...and other ones, hiking, camping, painting, cooking, dancing, drinking homebrew.. and anything else available. I enjoy people watching, walking, yoga, music, reading, talking with others, performing, star gazing, farming and gardening, communal living, urban gardening, diy gardening, religious and cultural studies, raising chickens, writing, puppet shows, burlesque shows, botanical studies-homeopathic medication, eating cookies. I want to try everything... so i dabble. .. it's a good life.

I am recently inspired by a group of people who listen to Central and SOuth American drum bassed music. It is intoxicating and riviting to listen to the beats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once while in Bangkok I was walking down a street and a police officer said "FREEZE". I asked the officer "why?". As I was doing no harm and just walking with my friend to our hotel. He yelled again "stop" in Thai. This time with furry and anixety in his voice. I look up and around me. The entire area, including streets and sidewalks were cleared and a strange hush in the bussling streets of a metropolitan city became evident to me. There was silence for a moment. I thought" What the fuck was happening?". Then the sounds of police motorcycles and an armored car rolled past. The king. O O O .. second memory. I was siting in a theatre at a mega cinaplex in Bangkok. We went to watch Transformers II. Mostly so that we would be able to watch it days before it hit mainstream theaters in U.S., but the experience was incredible. Not only was the theatre and the screen about 4 times larger than anything I had seen in the U.S., but the entire theatre stood to pledge there allegiance to the King during a 30 second jingle promoting the kings commitment to the people. For the most part the people are still living in shanties by the riverside in Thailand, yet they hold so much faith in their leader. It was an overwhelming experience. The movie was also amusing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am proficient in English. I know some Spanish, but would love to know more. I am not very good at guitar, but would love to learn more. I cook for a living and I am always wanting to share stories, recipes, and ideas.I recently worked on a farm and know of to make cheese. Besides cheese I have an strong interest in and basic understanding of fermentation. I would love to learn more about bikes, dancing, and figure drawing.
