Soy una persona amigable, abierta y curiosa. Me encanta viajar y encontrar gente de todas clases, naciones y edades. Disfruto aprender .

I'm a friendly, open, curious person who enjoys meeting all kinds of people. I like to learn new things and to make new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Intento a seguir aprendiendo y estar conciente y agradecida de las cosas pequeñas y cotidianas. Me considero una persona alegre, pero en general no me importa tanto estar jubilosa todo el tiempo sino mas que nada sentir que mi vida y las cosas a cuales me dedico tengan un sentido. Siento que con respeto a eso estoy en un buen camino trabajando como psicologa, mi trabajo me llena bastante!

I'm trying to keep learning new stuff and to stay mindful and grateful to the little things (sounds corny as I read it ;) but thats actually important to me).
It's not that important to me to be shiny happy all the time but rather to feel some sense of purpose in my life and the stuff I'm doing. I'm not sure what the goal in my life could be yet (or if theres a particular one), but so far I feel that I'm on a good path with my job. Working as a psychologist is just really cool and rewarding!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me encanta viajar, pero a veces me molesta que como turista no llego a conocer tanto de la gente y de la cultura. Se siente como estar en algun tipo de burbuja. Así que estoy muy emocionada por poder conocer la gente de CS!

I really like to travel, but sometimes it bothers me that as a tourist I often feel like I'm living in some kind of bubble, not really getting in touch with the locals and their realities. So I'm really looking forward to surf some couches and host travellers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mi primera experiencia con CS fue en venezuela. Nos recibieron dos amigos, hicieron un BBQ con muchos amigos y lo pasamos increíble. Era una experiencia grandiosa para mi.

My first experience with couchsurfing was in Venezuela. Two friends were hosting us, they had a barbecue with a lot of people that where all really friendly and open to us, it was a really amazing experience!

Interests

Me intereso mucho por otras culturas y cosmoviosiones, por eso me gusta viajar y conocer a toda clase de gente. Me interesa el asunto de los derechos humanos, así que soy miebro de un grupo local de amnistia internacional. Me encanta la naturaleza, hacer hiking, conocer plantas y ecosistemas diferentes.
Toco el piano, mas que nada toco musica clasica.

I'm very interested in other cultures and philosophies of life, so I love to travel and generally meet all kinds of people. I'm interested in human rights, so I'm a member in a local group of amnesty international. I love nature, hiking ans getting to know different plants and ecosystems.
I play the piano, mostly classical music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cumpliendo con el estereotipo que podrian tener de los alemanes, amo la musica clasica, mas que nada de la era romantica. Tambien me encanta la musica hippy de los años 68, como Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, the doors, ... a veces pienso que habria sido chevere ser nacido en esta epoca ;)
Por supuesto tambien me encanta toda clase de musica latina, recien descubri los boleros que me conmueven bastante (aunque sean un poco cursi a veces;)
Me gustan libros alemanes de la era posguerra, tambien empecé a leer unos libros de autores latinos como Llosa y Paz.

I love to listen to classical music, especially from the romantic era (Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff,...). I also love the music from the hippie-time in the late 60's and 70's, like Janis Joplin, pink floyd, the doors, really most artists from that time. Sometimes I wish I was born back then ;)
I read many german classics that I really enjoyed, especially post-war novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experimenté muchas cosas viajando, siempre viajé sola y muchas vezes andaba un poco ingenua y no muy cuidadosa, y siempre había tanta gente buena que me ayudaba y que se puso increiblemente hospitalaria!

I experienced a lot of great stuff when I was travelling, I was always by myself and often really naive, and there were so many people that helped me and where incredibly hospitable.

Teach, Learn, Share

Si tienes un piano puedo enseñarte algo allí. Puedo hacer un curry thai muy rico, tambien podria enseñarte unas recetas alemanas.
Tambien podria enseñarte algo aleman o contarte de la historia alemana, aunque francamente no la conozco tan bien ;)

I can teach you something on the piano, if you have one. I know how to make a really delicious thai curry, I can teach you how to do that.
Also I can teach you some german or tell you about german history, although frankly I don´t know that much about it ;)
