My current mission objective is to travel in Eastern Canada and meet friendly people that I may stay with for a day or a few days. My ultimate mission is to live a life of integrity, awaken divine love inside myself, and to be in service to all I meet

ABOUT ME

When I was 21, I gave up my career as a blues musician to become a monk. I later married and have two sons in Montreal

I have managed and cooked for two vegetarian restaurants, given vegetarian cooking classes at 4 universities and ran my own catering business.

I am interested in learning more about organic gardening and home audio recording, as my current project is to record an audio CD . I also have over 1000 slides that I like to show and discuss. I like to facilitate venues of sacred chants and vegetarian cuisine. Any chance I get, I love to walk and ,meditate in nature.

I am not my body, but I am spirit soul. I live my life to become self-realized and to facilitate others who understand the value of this. I want to become more expert in communication, empathy, learning to connect with others on a deeply spiritual level. I want to learn to respect my self so that I can give the same to others. I want to become the change that I want to see in the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im friendly, happy, ethical, spiritual and communicative I share my knowledge and skills in vegetarian cooking, sacred chants, and yoga philosophy and exercises. I help people to improve their health through nutrition.

If you have a high school, college or university where I can speak on World Religions , specifically Hinduism, or vegetarian cooking, I'm ready !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time I was with a group of monks in Brockville, Ontario. It was below zero weather and we had no where to stay. I knocked on the door of a Pentacostal Minister and he kindly allowed us to stay in the basement of his church. Ive stayed with many types of people on this journey, cooking for them, sharing my experience and knowledge and appreciating a warm shower.

I stayed with wonderful Six Nations people on the Oshweken Reserve

Last fall I gave a workshop in Meditation at a health center called Health Within in Carlottowne, PEI. One of the students, Nancy Murphy kindly opened her house to me for a few days and I participated in giving an Ayurvedic cooking course there as well as an evening of meditation , teaching kirtan
