ABOUT ME

The owl and the pussycat went to sea in a beautiful pea-green boat... I wasn't there, but if I had been, I'd definitely have taken some extra food supplies and a saucepan along too. I love cooking, am currently eating vegan diet and mostly cook ayurvedic meals. I'm officially still studying art but am not really interested in the course any more so am waiting until next year to begin a course in ayurveda and ayurvedic treatments. I'm pretty active, love being outside, love the summer, sunshine, running around barefoot, swimming, climbing trees and so on and so forth. I'm very honest - sometimes too honest – but I always mean well! I work in a montessori school as an English teaching assistant, which is something I thought I'd never do but after falling into it I've found to my amazement that I really like working with children. I practice yoga, but not as often as I would like to, I like running, but keep having to take breaks because of knee or ankle issues. I stopped brushing my hair 3 years ago and it's developed it's own locks. I'm getting married this summer. I am English but live in Austria. We have a VW bus called Helmut. I now need to stop sitting in front of the computer and get out of the flat.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a very sporadic couchsurfer as I'm not travelling much at the moment, but I want to persuade my fiancé that we have enough space to host people from time to time ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Phenomenal kindness and generosity from strangers on my travels opened my cynical eyes again to all the good energy and people in the world. I want to continue this affirmation of the wonder of life.
