ABOUT ME

I am pursuing my masters degree in vocal performance at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I live in Johnson City Tennessee with my wife Devin. I hope sing professionally in a number of different genres after I graduate. My wife Devin recently completed her masters degree in Education and will be teaching English this next year.. We both love traveling and exploring other cultures in ways that the normal tourist might not experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet people. Wherever I go, I try my best to learn all I can about where I am. I think surfing couches and hosting surfers is the best way for me to do this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with a few friends of the family last time I was in England. Other than that I have none, but I love to meet people from different backgrounds than me

Interests

Every kind of music there is, opera, choral, classical, 20th century, rock, classic rock, metal, pop, not so much country but some is ok, and the list goes on and on... I read alot, I play video games, skateboarding, snowboarding, soccer, philisophical conversations, beer with friends, wine with friends, dancing, performing, Cathedrals!, the theater, movies lots and lots of movies, dogs... etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to whistle from an acorn top, some yo-yo tricks, how to olle on a skateboard, basic music theory and history, and how to cook a mean orzo risotto with red wine chicken.

I like learning how to cook the food of someone elses country. I love authentic German food!!
